On a full charge this camera can easily take 200 photographs. Also it has an internal memory of 70MB if needed. But you should definitely pick up a SD card which has a lot more space to save your video clips and photographs. Nowadays SD cards are extremely inexpensive.
Pentax has a support website but is hard to maneuver through when you first start out. Despite the turbulence, once you are in it is pretty easy to find what you need.
